This course provides an introductory overview of product development in the fashion industry, covering the entire process from concept to consumer. Students will explore the various research methods used in the fashion industry and how this research informs and influences garment design. The course also examines how trend cycles, consumer behavior, and broader social, political, and economic influences impact trend development.
