20th-Century Dress and Culture
This course provided a comprehensive overview of the history of fashion, beginning from the late 1800s and extending up to the present day. We delved into the impact of historical periods on fashion, examining how economics, politics, religion, and culture shaped clothing styles of the time. Throughout the course, we explored various issues affecting the fashion industry through readings, videos, and discussions, and had the opportunity to connect with guest speakers from the local fashion industry.
