The Bibliotheque Sainte-Genevieve is a French National Library located in Paris. It was designed in 1843 by Henri Labrouste and built between 1844 and 1851. He used barrel vaults in major structures for Bibliotheque Sainte-Genevieve. He was known for his use of iron frame construction, being one of the first to realize the importance of its use. Also, The Salle Labrouste, a reading room in the Bibliotheque National de France was designed by Henri Labrouste.
