In this project I decided to create an Invoice. Since this is an assignment for the student to choose freely. I feel that an invoice is very important for a freelancer. I’m a designer but a businessperson as well. This is just a template that I can add or take away depending on the project or client I have. Instead of me writing each invoice for every project, I just have to fill in and print. This makes it quick and convenient for me to provide my fee for my services.

I wanted my student portfolio to be realistic; this is another reason why I choose an invoice. I can use this for all my future works, to have documents of my services. If I choose to go full time as a freelancer this is also needed for my tax purposes. I had fun creating this invoice and seeing my logo design on it, made me feel I’m one step closer to owning my own business.
