Mixed Reality For Immersive Worlds

Four Images that I love.

I love going into the woods. Especially on cloudy, rainy days. I love being surrounded by nature. It makes me happy and calm. I feel like a video game character who is strolling in a mysterious wood and finding any cool things around while a mysterious song plays in a background.

Violins are my most favorite instrument. I own a violin and it was originally belong to my best friend who used to play it so she passed it on to me because she knows how much I love violins. I always wanted to learn how to play one day. However, violin lessons cost too much and hard to find a teacher who has time and have a lot patient. I want to learn how to play it because I discovered a violinist named Lindsey Stirling and her music is outstanding. She is the main reason that I want to play a violin.

I took this shot outside of a store from upstate New York a couple of years ago. It was a thunderstorm day and it rained a lot for an hour and left the sky gray by the end of the storm. It was getting near the end of the day, and I looked around and saw the view on top of a store like the picture you see above. I took it and edited it to look mysterious and spooky. I really liked the shot so I kept it.

This is from MTEC 1005 – Physical Computing Skills Lab. It is a Fairy lamp I did, and when a white button is pressed,  it would light up while a song would play Lost Woods/Saria’s Song from Ocarina of Time.
