Joining a Club

1. You must be logged in to the OpenLab to join a Club, so after logging in, go to the Club Profile of the Club you want to join.  (Read more about how to find a Club.)

2. If the Club is public, click + Join Now, and you will automatically become a member.  If the Club is private, click + Request Membership and the Club administrator will be notified of your request.  Once she approves the request you’ll be added as a member.

3. A Club administrator may invite you to join a Club. In this case, you can go to My OpenLab > My Invitations. Click Accept next to the invitation for the Club. Or, check your email inbox for a notification that you have been invited to join the Club. Click on the accept invites link in that email. If you aren’t already logged into the OpenLab, you will be prompted to log in if you aren’t already.  When you do so, you’ll be on your “Invitations” page.  

Leaving a Club

1. After logging into the OpenLab, go to the Club Profile and click – Leave Group. You will no longer be a member of the Club.
