FilingĀ FAFSA and TAP applications (if you are eligible):

  • The 2021-2022 FAFSA and TAP Application is available.Ā  If you are attending Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and/or Ā the Spring 2022 term, complete both applications.Ā  ClickĀ HEREĀ for more information and instructions.Ā  It is an ASAP requirement for you to complete both FAFSA and TAP Application (as long as you are an U.S Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen.ā€
  • ā€œThe 2022-2023 FAFSA and TAP Application is now available (as of Oct 1st, 2021).Ā  If you are attending Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and/orĀ  the Spring 2023 term, complete both applications.Ā  Click HERE for more information and instructions.Ā  It is an ASAP requirement for you to complete both FAFSA and TAP Application (as long as you are an U.S Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen.ā€

Additional Types of Aid:

  • The Fall 2021 Excelsior Scholarship deadline is August 31st, 2021. Go the Excelsior website for information on requirements and how to apply
  • Jose Peralta New York State Dream Act is for students who are not able to complete FAFSA and TAP applications due to immigration status
  • Click HERE for instructions in how to complete the Jose Peralta New York State Dream Act and the TAP Application via the Dream Act Application/Portal.

Financial Aid Verification Instructions (if required) are sent to your City Tech email:

  • The list of documents and/or forms that need to be submittedĀ 
  • Instructions on how to upload the documents and/or formsĀ 
  • Email ClaribelĀ if you need assistance/guidance on how to complete the forms
