Welcome to ASAP’s tutoring engagement page. We are excited to have you. Here you will learn everything about our ASAP tutoring model, including our incentive-based model and our City Tech tutoring partners.
ASAP Tutoring Model:
Our tutoring model allows you to connect with tutors in three ways: live in-person, live via Zoom, and live via our online platform, Tutor.com.
- Live in-person
- Live via Zoom
- Tutor.com: We have partnered with Tutor.com, an online service powered by Princeton Review, to provide you with 24/7 online tutoring. To access this service, log into Blackboard and find it in your Organizations section. It’s available now!
ASAP Incentive Structure:
Our tutoring model is incentive-based. At ASAP, we understand the value of tutoring and the benefits that students derive from continually and actively engaging in it.
As such, our model opens access, stimulates curiosity, and encourages students to take full advantage of tutoring.
Here’s how it works:
- All ACE/ASAP students who attend at least fifteen (15) tutoring sessionsvia tutor.com, Zoom or in-person with our ASAP tutors, or one of our City Tech tutoring partners this semester will earn a financial reward.
Students who complete the Skills for Success (S4S) Initiative and attend at least eight tutoring sessions via tutor.com, Zoom or in-person with our ASAP tutors, or one of our City Tech tutoring partners this semester will earn a financial reward.
