We will be having double desk crits on Thursday and reviewing the template for the mid-term presentation on Tuesday 6/30.
I asked everyone to concentrate on placing their massing on the site model that Oliver created. Then look at:
- The spacing between buildings – most likely the min requirement is 60′ (may want more)
- The width of the buildings – to accommodate apartments – roughly 70-75′ wide
- The negative spaces around the building – especially the strange spaces next to the raised portions of the BQP and on/off ramps.
Try to layout a floor plate with blocking in 1,2,3 bedroom units to get scale and organization. Located areas for core – remember our rules. See Miro Board 13 for all the references.
