UrbanPlan – Presenting to UrbanPlan for Crit at 8:45am as a Team
- Work as a team to coordinate Site Plan and the Financial Model – can use our Zoom
- Prepare a Screenshot of the Site Plan and the Summary sheet of the Financial Model
- List your vision – highlight how your vision relates to your Site Plan (bullet points)
- List any questions for your UrbanPlan Reviewer
Zoning Envelope: – You are showing the envelope not the building
- Rework each of your individual Zoning Presentations – Remember they need to look like a ZD-1 Sheet. Refer to the notes added by Hubert during class in our MIRO board… but be certain you do the following:
- Add a titleblock – put your name and photo on it
- Add a Map of the Special Zoning District – Indicate where your site is located
- Remember some of these “Special Districts” give you the option to use standard zoning rules or the “Special District Rules”. This is true for downtown Brooklyn and may be for the others. YOU MUST USE THE SPECIAL ZONING RULES…
- Remember- back up your decisions by specifying the zoning rule (As Per ZR 26-32)
- Add one more sheet at the ends with all the zoning rules relevant to your project
- If a rule does not apply – say it (for example – Sky Exposure Plane not applicable)
- It’s OK if you combine sheets – for example put both sections on one sheet or both Axonometrics on one sheet
Virtual Site Visit
- Begin to familiarize yourself with the site – take a virtual walk using street view
- Be certain to review the vidoes that have been posted (see last post)
- We will begin to develop the Site Inventory and Analysis
Team Work!!!!
- I would like each team to provide a weekly schedule showing when you plan on doing work for the course and who is able to attends each of the meetings – I do not expect that each of you can always meet as a complete group.
- I would like to see when you will work between Tuesday & Thursday and then Thursday to Tuesday (over the weekend)
- If anyone cannot meet – due to other responsiblities – please reach out to use (Prof. King & Prof. Bouratoglou) to let us know so we can help coordinate your group. We recognize that group work between Tuesday-Thursday can be challenging –
