Reflected Ceiling Plans
For Assignment 9 you will begin to develop your reflected ceilings based on the use of the space below. You will find ceilings that relate to the use and the size of the space and look to see which materials relate. Your ceiling should follow and reinforce your parti. There should be a connection of the volume that you create with the ceiling that relates back to your parti and use of space.
In your Pinterest account your should start to save images that reflect your ideas for ceilings and materials. Ceiling will start to incorporate lighting- which in itself can begin to create a ceiling plane without anything but lights – as we will look at.
Continue to develop your plans, sections and reflected ceiling plans in tandem.
There is a mid-term presentation on October 11th.
