Field Trip Summary

The trip to the art exhibition was a experience itself. The theme was different because it explained how art and music can intertwine which is rare. The Art gallery was unorthodox because it was not art I was use to, but the video room took it to a whole new level. Watching how music and art merge in motion is definitely something I wont forgot because of its unnatural persona it gave off that made me cringe and reflect a lot. It was definitely a thing you only experience once.

I actually really like this work of art, the different patterns interest me and are very unique in there own way. What I would want to change is the amount of borders I have created. The image would look better with more squares in different areas than most of the focus directing itself to the left side where lay out of place squares.

Letting the music move your hands was very interesting. I heard many sounds that created a tempo that went with my hand movement. The straight lines were songs with a straight tempo that stood consistent. A little change in the tempo can be identified by a line that is not perfectly straight. If it was I would have just used a ruler.

As I transitioned into other music the art started to get more interesting. As I heard many instruments I could not help but change back and forth with my drawing style. As each instrument played, even at the same time I drew two different patterns at the same time. Each identifying with its own characteristic. Point out any pattern you see and I will identify what happened at that exact moment in time.
