Flushing Hospital Dental Hygiene Internship:
As of February 2019, I was given the opportunity to work alongside Flushing Hospitals dentists and dental assistants to perform daily patient care and treatment. At my internship, I am able to perform patient clinical treatment and express to them various ways to maintain their oral health. I see an average of 5 patients per week. This internship has given me the opportunity to expand my clinical knowledge and work experience.
Treatment Includes:
- Intraoral Screenings
- Prophylaxis
- Scaling and Root Planing Therapy,
- Radiographic Images
- Oral Hygiene Instructions
