Rask.ai, never heard of it before until I started using it for my internship at ESR 24/7 NETWORK. To be honest I’ve never used any AI software or apps because of the bad reputation it has with people all over the world. People say that AI is bad and the companies who use it or people just don’t value the work of actual artists, illustrators, etc. When I had to use the software for the first time I somewhat felt bad, but then I realized that it’s not hurting anyone it just makes the process faster though you still need to manually do some stuff for the software to work. Rask.ai is a caption-generated software that generates captions for videos, but it can also translate those captions into other languages.

During the time I spent using this software, I realized how hopeful this software can be for people. As someone who does video editing as a hobby, I know how long it takes to make captions for videos. You have to type out the words and if you want the text to be animated you have to do keyframing there’s so much work you need to do just for captions. If I had known about this software before I would have started using it right away because it just makes the the caption part process much faster. I love the website’s layout the menu has all the videos you have uploaded and the second you upload the videos the software starts captioning them right away and if you need those captions translated into another language it does it at the same time.

Also, it has this feature where you can assign a speaker to the people talking to the video, and the speakers are number/color-coded so the people watching will always know who’s talking. The timeline for the captions is at the bottom you can shorten them or extend them for as long as you want in the timeline and they can overlap. You can even merge captions just in case you feel like they should be together instead of separate. One thing I will say is that the captions aren’t always accurate. You can’t just upload a video to the software and then download it expecting the captions to be 100% accurate. Sometimes the captions are wrong or it makes extra captions that shouldn’t even be there. You still need to look over the captions to ensure that they are accurate after that’s done you can export the video and have a fully captioned video in less than an hour. That’s how game-changing this software is. Will I start using it myself? Probably not I get a nice feeling of editing my captions, but for those who don’t have the time to do captions then I’d highly recommend this software.
