The project I’ve recently finished for ESR ESPORTS NETWORK was Season 4 of Kills, Thrills, and Chills. The show was about a vampire that wakes up every few decades on the month of Halloween trying to find himself a bride so he can become mortal again. He chooses his bride by putting them up against horror videogames, but not only is the bride taking place in this event, but also the hunters trying to stop him from becoming mortal again. Throughout the season brides and hunters are eliminated and sent to the graveyard where their souls will rest for all eternity and only one will remain whether that be a bride or a hunter.
We had two people editing the VFX, sound, etc. While me and 3 other people were working on the captions and translating them into Spanish. It was easy to communicate with the other editors and translators since we were all working on the same isle. We would ask each other what the people were saying in the show if one of us couldn’t tell what the participants were saying. Since we try our very best to make sure the translations are spot on. Overall, the project was successful the views came in and the audience just loved the season. There are already talks of doing Season 5 of Kills, Thrills, and Chills with the success of Season 4. None of that would have been possible if it weren’t for the editors and us the translators.
