The trip to jackson heights was nice. We explored cultures within india, learning that identifying indian food is based on the location similar to “Chinese food.” We had a lot of indian sweets which wasn’t so good because the sweet was too sweet. I liked how indian treats tried to incorporate sweet with savory. I really enjoyed the tamales and its savory flavors. However my favorite part of the trip was the columbian hot chocolate which was very chocolatey and sweet. the fact that jackson heights is 20 mins away from home is a bonus
