Dear Class,
Final grades have now posted to CUNYFirst. You can check them there. You should also be able to see your final exam grade on Blackboard. You can see all other assignment grades on turnitin.com.
Best wishes to all of you for your academic careers and future plans. I hope you enjoy the holidays!
Best,
Dr. M
You can see the details in the earlier post I made.
Best wishes to everyone, and very happy holidays!

The final exam for PHIL 3211 will be this Tuesday, 12/14. You may start any time between 6 and 8:30pm, but once you start, you will have only 75 minutes (that is, 1 hr 15 mins) to complete it; any time you take beyond that will be penalized, 2 pts/minute.
You will receive a link to the exam at 6pm in whatever email you have registered on Blackboard. You can also find it under “Content” in Blackboard after 6:00pm.
The exam is open book and open notes. I recommend that you study carefully for it by filling out the study sheet ahead of time. Most of the questions require understanding concepts, not simply repeating answers from the study sheet. I will be available via email between 6 and 8:30pm, if you have any questions or technical problems.
Do NOT plagiarize from the internet. Utilizing answers from class materials and lectures is acceptable. Plagiarism from the internet is grounds for a zero score on the test.
If you need a special exception you need to contact me. If for some reason you don’t contact me and also don’t take it at the appointed time, you will need a documented excuse (either medical or related to bereavement) for permission to take it at another time.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Dr. M
In our last class, we took time to complete these. If you weren’t there or didn’t complete it, please take a moment to evaluate this class!
You can find a link to your personal evaluation form in your City Tech email. Look for an email that says the name of this course, and has the following attributes:
i. Sender Name: NYC College of Technology Course Evaluations
ii. Address: SPSSurveys@scantron.com
Any feedback you can give will be helpful and much appreciated.
Thanks!
Dr. MacDougall
If you have any outstanding written work you would like evaluated prior to the end of the semester, please be sure to upload it to turnitin.com before midnight this Friday, 12/10. I will not evaluate submissions made after that time (I likely won’t even see them).
Best,
Dr. M
You can now find the final exam study sheet under “Assignments,” and then “Exam Study Sheets.” Please try to fill it out as much as possible before our study session next Tuesday! It will be most helpful to you if you have done some work on it before our meeting.
See you next Tuesday.
Dr. M
Please submit your paper to turnitin.com tonight before 6pm. Make sure you read the assignment carefully.
See you tonight!
