Readings and Assignments

Each week, students are expected to engage in 150 minutes of asynchronous (self-directed) or synchronous (real-time) learning. Within this tab, there are online resources to learn about specific topics related to the application of information systems in health care management.

Students are expected to read through the websites and view the videos. From these activities, you should be able to define terms, provide examples, and describe how information systems can improve health care.

The instructional websites and videos are grouped under:

  • Part A:  Session 1 through Session 5
  • Part B:  Session 6 through Session 10
  • Part C:  Session 11 through Session 15

Note:  PowerPoints used during synchronous/asynchronous lectures are available on Brightspace.
