3) In a recent contest w/ normally distributed scores, mean score was 210 and standard deviation was 25.
a) Find the z score of John who scored 190.
b) Find the z-score of Bill who scored 270.
c) If Mary had a z-score of 1.25, what was Mary’s score?
d) Find each of their percentiles.

I do, just use your chart ” Table 4 – Standard Normal Distribution ” and look at the numbers for the z.
z = -0.8, 0.2119 or 21.19%
z= 2.4, 0.9918 or 99.18%
z= 1.25, 0.8944 or 89.44%
