The idea behind this poster is to show both my artistic interests. One is music and the other is design. I Threw together some of the most successful and popular bands and some of my favorites to put together a guitar shape. First I took a picture of a guitar and traced it on one layer. After I got the outline, I started to place some names. I used the font Avenir because it’s easy to read even if there are dozens of other names cluttered together. The challenging part about this assignment was lining up every single name a certain way so it would fit the outline propperly. I had to separate a few of the names to two or three lines so they could fit the curvature of the guitar.
