About The Company
My First Internship
For the Internship, I was recommended by my Professor. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one in time as I have no connection with the other design company.
It wasn’t until Week 2 the supervisor has contacted me about the internship. I got my agreement signed and I was sent to await further instruction to see my other classmates. I’m looking forward to meet them.
Project 1 Part 1: American Red Cross Sweepstakes
I made some sketches and designed them into the poster. At the meeting, the supervisor said I had a interesting approach but it doesn’t match the consistency and brand colors. I’m to revise them and make it into a reel next week and submit it to my supervisor.
My Responsibilities/Role
My role is to manage one nonprofit each for the sweepstakes website. I’m managing the American Red Cross as my nonprofit organization. I’m to promote it and encourage more people to vote for American Red Cross through Design means. I also have other side projects along with the main one I had which I’ll talk about it in the next few posts.
About My Internship
I’m working with a company that deals with sweepstakes and promoting other nonprofits. They also have another website called Sweeps for a Cause where they do sweepstakes.
Right now, the company is doing a sweepstakes where you can win $10,000 for yourself $1,000 for your chosen nonprofit. Participation is free so anyone can participate for your favorite nonprofit. All you have to do is find the EIN of the nonprofit in the search bar and your nonprofit should be displayed and you can participate.
