As I progress through my internship, I’ve been learning extensively about design concepts, the importance of meeting deadlines, and the value of effective team communication. Each week, I’m assigned a new project by my supervisor, and I’m responsible for completing and submitting these projects. I often spend considerable time researching, brainstorming, and planning to approach tasks effectively. To meet my required hours, I typically work 3-4 hours a day. In this entry, I will discuss a few experiences that have helped me gain a better understanding and improve my skills. These projects have pushed me to focus more on managing my work efficiently.
On one particular project, I came to realize the significance of meeting deadlines. I was assigned to produce an email marketing campaign, which required extensive research and thoughtful consideration of designs that best represented the topic. This process was challenging, but my supervisor gave me a month to complete my second project, allowing ample time to refine my work. In an industry full of passionate individuals, everyone strives to have as much time as possible to perfect their projects and make revisions. However, to be seen as a reliable worker in the design industry, you must be able to work under pressure. Without it, you may not fully realize how it pushes you to improve and deliver better results.
