Strengths in Nursing

The strengths that I bring to nursing result from a good foundation in science and caring. I have always been able to absorb the information necessary for science since I was a child.  I have always had a big heart and would ask my mother if I could take home the homeless people I saw on the street. Nursing as a profession has represented the different aspects of my personality.  Being caring and decent with science does not always make for a good nurse. I am patient, culturally sensitive and most importantly nonjudgmental.  My clients’ prior lifestyle does not affect the care I would normally give. My wish is to do the greatest good for the greatest number.
