I’m quite positive we can all agree that taking a life, in other words murder, is an evil and heinous crime that should never be committed. It is an act that is inhumane and morally wrong in general. I am also positive that the majority of humans would stop a murder if given the opportunity. Why, then do we allow an act such as abortion to be carried out? In the past 40 years, over 50 million abortions have occurred in our nation alone. That’s over 50 million lives of babies that have been taken. As human beings it should be our responsibility to preserve all forms of life and protect it, not take it away. The negatives of abortion far outweigh the positives . It is because of these various negatives that I have come to the conclusion, I am against abortion.
