A) My major is nursing.

B) The years I will be attending college is from 2013-2017.

C) I’m from Guyana originally.

D) I attended elementary school at P.S.100, middle school at M.S.226 and high school at Hillcrest.

E) In grade school I wasn’t interested in English at all. It wasn’t my best subject but I attempted to do my best. I felt more confident in reading books, articles and poems. I’ve always been great at reading. I preferred reading then writing. I had trouble writing essays which made me fall behind and didn’t want to try. When I attended high school my mind set towards English changed overall. It was my favorite subject because the teachers I had were very helpful and understanding. Throughout high school I saw my writing skills change drastically as well as my reading. I was shocked that I accomplished something I thought I never would since I disliked English when I was a child. During my junior year of high school I was taught by one of the best English teachers. Well at least I thought she were. I was taught how to write research papers , persuasive essays and much more. She graded harshly but I knew she did it with good intentions. I wouldn’t be a good writer if it wasn’t for her. I’ve read many book such as Romeo and Juliet , To kill a Mockingbird, Macbeth and many more. As of today I love both reading and writing which I never thought I would.
