Professional Statement
My name is Yolene McMillan. I was born and raised in Queens, New York. My parents are from the island of Saint Vincent. Currently, I am a student at the New York City College of Technology. I am majoring in human services. My interest in being a human service professional comes from my motivation to help adolescents who have issues and to prevent their problems from escalating.
After obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Human Services, I aim to continue my education and get my masters degree. I plan to work in an agency that caters to the needs of adolescent and gained more knowledge of how an agency operates. After some in the field experience, I will have enhanced and gained more skills that is needed to be a human service professional so that I am capable of helping my clients.
