I have been a registered nurse for over a year. I am currently in the process of completing my bachelor of science in nursing, January 2013. Currently I am working part time in a group home for intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals. Working with this population have shown the diversity of nursing. My professional goal is to become an oncology nurse in the New York area. It would be an honor to be able to provide culturally sensitive palliative care to the vulnerable population.
