Planned and organized an oral health education program on proper toothbrushing technique and its importance to kindergarten students.
Family Head Start
Location: 293 Neptune Avenue
Educated kindergartners on importance of oral hygiene care and proper brushing technique using show-tell-do method by showing a video, then demonstrating on stuffed and animals and lastly having the students practice themselves on the stuffed animals.
Location: 3017 Glenwood Road
Performed dental screenings 3-4 year-olds and applied fluoride varnish. Appropriate referrals given based on findings (caries). Educated students on correct toothbrushing techniques.
