Hi! My name is Wendy Thompson, RN

My name is Wendy Thompson, RN. I have been a registered nurse for two years now. I am a passionate and patient caregiver who takes an action-oriented approach to health, life-saving, and care-giving procedures.I am a hardworking, honest, dependable, loyal, and humble individual who always perform to my utmost and can meet any challenges that are ahead of me with professionalism.

My Philosophy About Nursing

Trustworthiness is a philosophy I hold in nursing. This is so because it concerns a variety of behavioral qualities such as honesty, integrity, reliability, and loyalty.  It is through trustworthiness, I as a nurse will maximize good and minimize harm (beneficence). It is only through honesty I can achieve honor, admiration, and trust. Honesty means that I am truthful, sincere or non-deceptive.   Reliability involves my ability to keep my word.  When I make a promises or commitments to my patients, my responsibility is to make all reasonable efforts to fulfill my commitments.  It is also important that in a promise I consider carefully whether I am willing and likely to keep it. I should think about unknown or future events that could make it difficult, undesirable or impossible to keep my commitment.  Loyalty permits me to  promote and protect the interests of certain people in my, organizations or affiliations, Relationships such as those with my patients, employers, instructors, citizen of my country, create an expectation of loyalty. Loyalty requires me to keep secrets or information learned in confidence.
