Thesis: New laws need to be put in place to end police brutality.
Story: A group of black teenagers hanging out in their neighborhoods. A police car drives by and suddenly decides to pull them over. They were told to leave the area by police without giving them a probable cause or reason. Before the situation could’ve gotten more dangerous, the teenagers decided to do as the cop says and leaves.
Counter-argument: Adding laws that will hold police accountable for their actions can give the people too much power over the officers and get involved in their job and wrongly accuse righteous cops from doing the right duties.
