As indicated on their website, Student Support Services “assist enrolled students with disabilities through equal access, empowerment, resources, advocacy, collaboration and outreach throughout the College.” For students in Developmental Writing courses who qualify for these services, this department assists with getting additional testing time, readers, scribes, and other accommodations.  If you believe you qualify, call or make an appointment to set up these accommodations well in advance of your testing time.  It is up to the student to take advantage of and activate these opportunities.
