DEMO: Drawing a still life and using Hierarchy, Overlap, & Proportion

WORK IN CLASS : Practice Composition of a Still life and sketching out 10 minute compositions

 

 

In class Assignment : Sketch 1 Composition quickly to figure out Hierarchy, Overlap, & Proportion.  THEN Draw a Finished Still life Contour Drawing  (45 min) This drawing could be one used in your MIDTERM PORTFOLIO.

Use All the tools at your disposal: Measurement, Framing, Composition, awareness of contour, Trapped Shapes and Finding the midpoint to render a contour drawing of the subject matter.
