TEACHING BELIEFS

A common saying goes “learning is an on-going process.” The saying holds true in that throughout our lives we experience different scenarios and events that shape our ideologies and philosophies. Teaching and learning philosophies are based on the experiences that we go through which are responsible for shaping our beliefs. Our philosophies are also based on our knowledge about teaching and learning. For me, my philosophies of teaching and learning are based on the experiences.

My philosophies inform how I plan my lessons, how I teach and how I create goals for the students in my classroom. My philosophies also help me decide on where to focus my learning and trainings as I advance my career.
