Hospitality work experiences

Working at the Hotel Indigo was a wonderful experience for me, as learned many things. It is a prominent hotel chain in the United States of America, which is operating in 8 countries. The company has made its reputation in the lodging services around the globe. This organization has implemented one of the best hospitality management practices. These practices helped me to learn the work execution and develop several skills to make my future predictable.

I worked with the management and maintained good relations with guests. The firm is guest focused. Now, I can conduct effective guest management process. I developed a “Can Do” attitude in this organization. It is the best approach to deal with clients and enhance the satisfaction. Being a hospitality student, I tried to adopt several traits and present the solution to every problem to facilitate the customers. It is the main accomplishment for me, and ultimately, it can also create the positive impact on my future.

I acquired the knowledge of a team player. Employees are usually divided into different groups or teams. Being a part of the functional team, I contributed to the success of the firm in an effective and lucrative manner. Through better team player, I streamlined my efforts to meet client-oriented goals and objectives in the competitive hospitality industry.

Working with others is challenging. So, it is important not to be too harsh or too much of a people pleaser. I believe an individual that opt for a professional approach should always be polite with their speech and they should show a positive appearance. Professionals in hospitality industry should represent their strong and pleasant character in front of their customers. I’ve learned that if you want to be successful in a hospitality industry, you need to have a strong sense of professionalism, a willingness to go above and beyond to provide excellence services and an ability to anticipate the needs of people.
