Think you’ve got what it takes to hold your own in a duel?  Want to learn how?  I present to you the Veterans on Guard Fencing Program.

Among their staff are World Champions and Olympic coaches.  The program is FREE to all Veterans and Active Duty personnel and they provide the necessary fencing equipment. All participants need is athletic clothes: sweats/track pants, sneakers or tennis shoes, socks and a T-shirt. They recommend interested Veterans come to one of their sessions to observe before participating. The sessions are held every Monday evening from 7:30-9:00PM and Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00PM at their state-of-the-art facility in Chelsea (229 W. 28th St., 2nd Floor, NYC 10001). You can see upcoming dates on their online Calendar: http://fencersclub.org/calendar/I’ve spoken to the staff there and they look forward to meeting our City-Tech Veterans!  Hope to see some of you there!
