As a Registered Nurse, my philosophy is to provide holistic, nurturing, healing, loving care for the ill regardless of age, gender, race, or ethnicity. My goal is to be a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse leader that brings inspiration and meaning to every patient’s life providing holistic care, delivering culturally competent care, and maintaining human dignity. My mission is to provide compassionate care to every patient and family member. Promising to be honest, professional, and mediate as an advocate beyond the duration of my career.

I will enhance my skills and competency by continuous professional development and continued education to provide the best evidence-based care to my patients. I am promising to respect the dignity and confidentiality of all in my care, supporting and honoring their choices.  I believe in developing a trusting relationship with my patients, as I will deliver quality care with their trust. I will listen and communicate effectively to develop the nurse-patient relationship.

I promise to allow my patient to remain autonomous of their healthcare needs while advocating for their respected rights.  I will educate the client to the best of my knowledge and vow to uphold the American Nurse Association’s ethical code of conduct.  I want to leave a positive lasting impression on all my patients and their family, knowing I positively affected the client’s life.
