Goals: My professional goals are to be utilized to my fullest potential in the dental office. A long term goal is to eventually keep broadening my education and try my hand at dental school. Where ever life takes me I would hope to stay in this field for the long term, whether it be as a RDH, a dentist or even an educator.
Experience: I’ve always worked with the public. Some of my first jobs were as a hostess and a server. Working in the restaurant business definitely is an advantage in learning how to present your self and sell yourself. You are essentially your own business when you think about it. I cant remember a time I didn’t have a job. From waitressing, to bartending in midtown, I have found a way to intertwine all the lessons taught over the years and apply them to the career I want now. Excluding the food and beverage service field, my employment in the past 8 years goes as follows.
- Kings Nissan – administrative secretary (2012-2014)
- Brooklyn Smile Health Services – multi specialty practice, chair side assistant (2014- present)
