My Nursing Philosophy

Approaching my graduation from Nursing Bachelor program I developed a set of values and beliefs that were accumulating from my early childhood. It is important what kind of person you are and what your human characteristics are. This features come from family, culture, religion, education etc.

As for the nurse, I believe that every client has the right for the best care I can provide. It is very important to be kind, attentive to the clients’ needs and unjudgemental to lessen the distance between me and my patients. These qualities will help me to understand and hear the inner voice of my clients and their families.

We live in the multicultural country; therefore every patient who needs help has to get individualized attention and proper care. It does not matter the gender, race, age or social status, everybody has to be treated with respect and dignity

I believe in holistic healing. Besides of medications, surgeries and other medical procedures every client needs support comfort and understanding to maintain wellness and to be in a good health.

In addition, it is important for me to develop myself and my professional life, my knowledge and my competence to the fullest extent. I plan to learn something new every day from my colleagues and my patients. Moreover, I think it is important to share my knowledge. I will teach patients how to stay healthy and have better quality of life. To make my teachings effective I have to be clear in communication and be sure that a patient got my message.

I look forward to apply my knowledge and experience, my values and beliefs on a practice while giving my clients the best quality care.
