South Ferry

I have never been on the South Ferry before, mainly because I have no desire to go to Statan Island.

The ferry ride was pleasent. You had views of the Statue of Liberty on one side and a view of Govenors Island on the other. The ride was only about a half hour or less. However I could not imagine myself doing that commute everyday, especially in the winter. When we got to Statan Island we ran to the boat back and rode it back to Manhattan. Coming back to the city there was a stunning view of Battery Park. That was nice to come back to. When we got off the boat we took a brief tour of Financial District.
