My project proposal is to have the cameras on smart phones and tablets use facial recognition to determine the users mood. Then it will go through the music library in an attempt to lighten, brighten or match the mood it has interpreted.

You can also set certain facial expressions for certain songs or even entire playlist. You can take a picture of your expressions and the device will remember them the feeling you inputed with it.
