This information is very useful with not only this course but all courses in city tech. I have been in this school for a few years now and almost every class I have taken uses Black board. knowing how to navigate through the site with ease is beneficial to all students. This information will allow you to access homework, future assignments, course content and what is to be expected of you during the semester. This information also shows you how to connect with fellow classmates, which is a huge help if you are unsure about an assignment etc. Lets not forget you can also reach your professors through this site as well.

The use of technology in nursing education is vital. Day by day the world is advancing in technology and in order to be a good nurse one must be up to date in not only technology but in studies and research as well as new treatments. Technology allows nurses and nursing student to keep up with the new developments of health. Technology also allows for less medication errors and more advance studies of the human body.Without technology nursing in of it self will diminish dramatically.

After going to NYCCT main web page http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/students/ i noticed some resources that can support students in their educational journey here at City Tech. one resource that i personally use is http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/students/registrar/calendar.shtml. This link is super beneficial because it allows you to know all the important dates for the school semester. For example days that there are no school, days that are ran as different days with in the week, deadlines for those who want to drop classes or those who receive finical aid. Another resource that is great and that I used my freshmen year here because the English department basically forced you to get your papers checked here is http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/students/learningcenter/index.shtml. I personally know a lot about the learning center as I not only used its resources but  I worked in both of our learnings centers for a huge chuck of my college life. So not only can you be employed at the learning center you can get tutoring in most subjects. Take classes that will allow you to skip out on your MST requirement. Last but not lease you can use the computers here and print up to 30 pages a day ( front and back, the only location in school in which you can do that). All in all this website is one of the best tools to have in your tool belt.
