My name is Tiffany Velez. I am 23 years old and a senior in the dental hygiene department. With graduation just around the corner, I can honestly say I couldn’t be more happier with my decision in choosing Dental Hygiene as my future career choice. In dental hygiene there is such a diverse field in which one can work in. Some areas include pediatrics, nursing home and my personal favorite working with persons with special needs. Growing up with a mother in the dental field, I always knew that I wanted to be a dental hygienist. I have an incredible amount of patience and a true passion to help people. I always wanted to be more than ordinary, and help those who may not always be able to help themselves. I can’t wait to get out in the world and make a difference. I can thank this love and passion to help others to my guardian angel, my little sister Cayla. She was an extremely special little girl and help to make me the person I am today.
