FINAL PROJECT 2

Scenario: Place: Children’s Tennis Court Time: Mid-day / Sunny and warm

Two woman sit on a bench as the watch their children play an innocent game of tennis. Both of them holding their phone recording and updating their statuses. Their daughters are wearing casual shirt and shorts.

Mid-shot of woman on bench Woman 1: ”Wow look at my little Ashley’s energy, she’s getting good at this.”

Woman 2:  “Oh… she is isn’t she?”  She clicks a 2-hr tennis lessons deal on her phone. Quick cut-in to girls in new tennis gear.“Jennifer’s practically a pro now.”

(Everytime they tap the screen, the phone raises to cover the view and drops to reveal the reaction of pressing the deal) The girls roll their eyes in exhaustion each time their moms tap their phone.

Woman 1: ”Well, I can’t see how she keeps up with her in those shoes!”  Cut-away to woman 1 on her phone clicking 50% off running sneakers. Ashley is seen in new shoes moving quicker on the court are a result of the shoes. “Yeah that’s better”

Woman 2: “This match is getting good. Are you hungry?” to Woman 1

Woman 2 taps “a dinner for two at an italian restaurant” promo. The bench turns into a   a round table with gourmet food and a waiter next to them.

Woman 1: “Oh this is magnificent! Great choice…now all we need is a… ”

Woman 2:  “a Spa for two adults and one child for 70% off!”

Girls stop and drop their tennis rackets in a happy shock and look at one another.

Voice Over: Some deals are too good to pass on.

I’ve decided to use ecommerce/deal service Groupon for the Project III. Each Day Groupon.com features something cool at an unbeatable price. And you can check back the next day for more deals. It’s has a very clean and easy-to-use interface. Offer deals include an Internet based decision making tool, adventurous, collective buying power, focuses on local businesses in the community.

Target Audience:
Young women ages 25-40. College educated with an average income of 45,000 a year. Employed full-time and an urban dweller. Tech savvy.

Service Benefits:
Instantly discover where to eat, see, go and shop in every city at a great price. Available in a mobile app or on the web.

Why are we advertising? :
To instill in people that “I go to Groupon.com for the best deals at the tap of a finger.”

Where are we advertising?:
This particular advertisement will air on television during daytime television on travel, leisure, and family networks; i.e. ABC, Nick, TLC etc. Other forms of advertisement include 30-second snippets online before YouTube videos.

Tone:
The brand character is easily understood; friendly, reliable and transparent.
This ad will be humorous, with quirky music and witty commentary.

Woman 2 taps her phone and an Eyemask appears on Jennifer’s face. Jennifer trips and falls on a bed which magically *poofs* in the middle of the court.

Woman 1: To Woman 2 “Oooh girl that was a good one, where’d you see that?”
