Individual Strengths

In the nursing field, you build many strengths as you progress in your career. I started off as an LPN and started my first nursing job in a nursing home. In the nursing home I obtained many skills such as time management and was introduced to learning how to delegate appropriate tasks to CNA’s. Working in a nursing home also sharpened my assessment skills although as an LPN you are not allowed to assess and sharpened my knowledge on multiple different medications. As I continued to move and grow with my nursing career, I grew into becoming a team player and be able to respect all roles and disciplines. I enhanced my critical thinking skills and believe that it is one of my greater strengths now. I am very organized and punctual.
