BUF 3510 Fashion Buying
  • In this course students were taught the principles and techniques of retail buying  in order to successfully manage retail inventory which includes inventory turnover and profitability.
BUF 2203 Visual Merchandising
  • The course in Visual Merchandising expanded on product presentation, in-store environment, and lighting in order to convey a message and influence consumers to purchase.
BUF 2246 Textiles
  • Textiles focused on identifying  various natural and manmade fibers and finishes and learning how they are produced.
MKT 1214 Advertising
  • The course in Advertising consisted of scanning advertising and sales promotions in order to identify the impacts of communication and socio-economic environment on it as well as mastering marketing techniques.
BUF 3100 Trend Forecasting & Social Media
  • Professor Woods lectured students on the impact of trending colors, styles and textiles upon sales. They were taught how to research and develop fashion forecasts in specific seasons within the apparel industry in order to predict future trends.
