“Landscape with Atmospheric Perspective”

This is the first time I used paint to create a landscape.  Before, I used watercolor most frequently.  And I’m satisfied with the result I got on this project.  The part I like the most is the coloring and the shading.

It takes me a lot of time to get the details in the foreground.  This is because the base color is dark already so the stones and the grass need to be in varieties of values. I spent much time to mixing the colors and found the right spot to apply them.
