About Me

I am a RN to BSN student, a full time pediatric emergency room nurse, and a mom of two kids under three years of age. I face scheduling and prioritizing conflicts every single day in all areas of my life. Perfectionist by nature, I have learned to accept that things may not always go as planned and that the ability to adjust to the situation and to work as a team helps in gradually moving towards your goals.

I received my associate degree in nursing from the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Between graduation and taking the boards, I was lucky to land an externship at the post-anesthesia case unit of Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center. The externship helped me to get a position as a staff nurse in the hospital’s pediatric emergency room shortly after receiving my license.

I am working towards gaining a baccalaureate degree from the New York City College of Technology. In the future, I plan to get a masters degree in nursing and become a nurse practitioner. I envision myself working with children in a clinical care setting.
