Angular Cheilitis

Angular cheilitis is a skin condition that causes corners of the mouth to become painflul, cracked and inflamed. Infections can be caused by fungi such as Candida Albicans. Another cause can be poor nutrition and lack of Vitamin B group.  37 years old male Caucasian male presented with dry lips and bilateral angular cheilitis was noted on the labial commussures. Patient was aware of the condition, states it usually happens due to cold weather. Condition was explained, patient reported interest in follow up with therapist.
