Being a part of the Head Start activity, varnish application is consider to be safe, not expensive and effective method to provide prevention treatment for children. Children from the low-income families have greater risk of developing decay. Varnish application is the best way of preventing them. Screening for ECC, untreated decay, defective restorations and oral pathology was made as well. We participated in screening around 100 children in multiple visits. Children responded differently, but I’m glad we were able to find the ways to communicate and work with them individually.
