During our senior year, one of our 2 lecture courses was Public Health.  I had a great time in this class because we had the ability to get out of our classroom and actually give back to the community.

Within my class, I was in a group and we did volunteer work at P.S 177 in Brooklyn.  We visited 2 2nd grade classes and taught them the importance of having good oral care.

As a whole class, we volunteered at a Head Start Program on Neptune Avenue in Brooklyn providing fluoride treatments to 4 & 5 year olds.
